No Longer Her Thoughts Part 2

Part 1

Gregory Harrison Polk died on Tuesday February 7th 2017 at 11:13 pm. He took no interest in what happened to his body after he departed from it that evening. His cat, Matilda, could have devoured it and left only bones for whomever stumbled upon what was rendered inedible by a feline’s standards. After forty seven years filled with ups and downs, excitement and monotony, love and heartbreak (but let’s be honest here, it was mostly heartbreak), he was tired of it all. He needed a new life, not just in the sense of dropping it all in Des Moines and building himself from scratch in a new city with new friends. No, that wouldn’t work. He knew this to be true because that’s how he ended up in Des Moines in the first place after his divorce filings were complete. No, he needed something completely new, a new life would be a nice way to mix it up. So he began looking for a way to get one.

Honestly he didn’t care where he ended up, male or female, young or old, rich or poor, he just needed an out. His only criteria was that the body be alive, be in decent health, and live in an English speaking country, he could figure out the rest from there. After months of searching he finally found a means of leaving his life and his body behind, but in order to do so he would have to put a stop to his beating heart to get one. At first it sounded like a ruse to convince desperate and depressed suckers to kill themselves, but honestly Gregory was a desperate so even if it wouldn’t work it was still a win-win in his book. On the night of February 7th, 2017 Gregory Polk Took his life, praying to never return it ever again.

He woke up the next morning at 6:47am a thousand miles away in a new body, and subsequently a new life. Gregory Polk was no more, he was now Kelsey Elise Willow, a young Mormon girl in Salt Lake City just over half his age. It didn’t take long for Gregory to acquaint himself with his new body. Within the first five minutes of his new body he stripped himself down and did unspeakable things Kelsey would have never thought she could have done with her feminine assets.

After he had tired himself out Gregory did some research on his new life, then quickly grew bored of it. He might look like Kelsey, he might have inherited her life, but he was given a second chance and he wasn’t going to waste it again, and with his new looks he could make anything he wanted happen. So he partied every single day of the week and began fucking everybody who would let him.

Gregory had no idea that Kelsey had a boyfriend until he had already spent a week as her. He had arrived unexpectedly on the doorstep while he was making out with some random dude, or lady, he had brought home that night. He invited Nicholas, her long term partner, into bed with him and the stranger, Gregory was a generous guy after all, but Nicholas refused. Gregory shrugged it off and thought to himself “his loss.”

The next day Nicholas ended the eight year relationship between him and Kelsey. Gregory felt his throat clamp up, and his eyes begin to water. He remembered when Nicholas had first asked him out back in the eleventh grade. He had never asked a girl out before and he had found it super adorable. He remembered the first time Nicholas kissed him and how it made his heart nearly explode with excitement and he knew at that instance that he would never leave Nicholas, ever. Was it really worth it? Was it really worth it to fuck other people to throw it all aw- Jesus Christ, what the fuck was he thinking!? These memories weren’t his, he had no idea who the hell Nicholas even was until just twelve hours ago. This was ridiculous, so he drowned the thoughts away with enough booze to put a horse to sleep and some random dude’s dick between his legs.

As a newly single woman, Gregory paid the bills as Kelsey as a part time cam girl until her lease expired. Once he was free from her financial obligations he packed it all up and high tailed it to Florida. He had always wanted to retire to Florida, and he knew with a body like his he could easily find a job down in Miami.

In Miami he could be whoever he wanted, so he ditched Kelsey’s name and gave himself the new identity of Isabella Love Candi, or I. Candi for short. As I. Candi he began working in an industry he was no stranger to as a consumer back in his old life: the porn industry. With his body and age he was in high demand. Within a year he had worked his way up through the ranks and became one of the highest earning porn actresses in all of Miami. Life was good!

Sometimes, but not often, Gregory would wonder what happened to Kelsey. What had become of her once he had taken over her life and body? Did she cease to exist? Had she left her body and became somebody else too? Or was she there with him, watching his actions behind her own very eyes? The last thought made him shudder how horrible would it have been to force this woman to become a prisoner of her own body. So he chose to believe she was just dead. He would rather be a murder than a warden.

In the end it didn’t matter, Gregory had made his choice two years ago when he ditched his old life and became Candi and he would never trade it again. As Candi he was no longer a loser who had lost everything he had ever cared for, no he was a winner who would get whatever he wanted. As Candi he didn’t have to scrap by with just instant ramen for days, and sometimes weeks, at a time, instead he had so much great food in his life he often had to hold back just to maintain his figure. As Candi he didn’t settle for cheap boxed wine or vodka that taste like nail polish remover, no as Candi he wouldn’t settle for anything less than top of the self. As Candi he wouldn’t have argument with his wife about having children, because he had gotten her tubes tied as soon as he had moved to Miami. Gregory Harrison Polk was long gone, nothing more than a distant memory that had faded into embers, I .Candi was the life he was meant to live, he knew it to be true.
